Why It Works
Text exchanges are a very familiar visual, but seeing it within the context of instagram/tiktok/facebook is unexpected. Something familiar, but in an unexpected context is a powerful pairing to grab attention.
People are also very nosey. Maybe it's just me, but reading someone else's text message and being up in someone else's business is a guilty pleasure that is rarely experienced. The text exchange visual taps into that energy.
What to Avoid
Don't be boring and over cram the text exchange with unnatural product feature jargon!
